George H. Logan, 82, of Lexington, RD 7, was dead on arrival at Mansfield General Hospital Friday morning from an apparent heart attack.

He was born August 23, 1900, at Lexington and was a lifetime area resident.  He was a retired employee of the Richland County Highway Department with 35 years of service.

He is survived by his wife, Cora (Wornstaff) Logan; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Lou Wade, of Belleville, RD 2; and, a grandson, Sam Wade of Bellville, RD 2.

Gravesite services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Lexington Cemetery with the Rev. Richard Heimlich officiating.
